Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide free quotations?

Yes. Quotations are free and without obligation. Some work can be assessed from a clear description and photographs, while larger, unusual or access-sensitive jobs may need a site visit before the price is confirmed.

Which areas do you cover?

The usual service corridor runs from Brighton to Seaford, including Kemptown, Roedean, Ovingdean, Rottingdean, Woodingdean, Saltdean, Telscombe, Peacehaven, Newhaven and Bishopstone. Suitable work elsewhere in East Sussex or the wider South East may also be considered.

Can I book a one-off gardening visit?

Yes. One-off visits are available for defined work such as a tidy-up, hedge trim, lawn reset, clearance or pre-tenancy visit. The quotation will state the agreed scope.

Do you offer regular garden maintenance?

Yes. Regular plans can be arranged for suitable residential, landlord and commercial properties. Visit frequency is agreed around growth, task priorities, access and the level of finish required.

What information helps with a quotation?

Provide the postcode, service required, approximate garden size, access information, preferred timing, waste expectations and clear photographs. Mention slopes, steps, narrow access, parking restrictions or unsafe structures.

Will garden waste be removed?

Waste handling is agreed as part of the quotation. Do not assume all waste or non-garden material is included. Large volumes, soil, rubble, household waste and hazardous materials may require a separate arrangement.

Can hedges be cut during nesting season?

Work must not disturb an active wild-bird nest. The hedge should be checked before work, and trimming should be delayed or adjusted if a nest is present or suspected.

Do I need to be at the property?

Not always. Access, instructions, approval limits and any tenant or site contact can be agreed in advance. Secure access information should only be shared through an appropriate private channel.

Do you work for landlords and letting agents?

Yes. Services can support routine maintenance, tenancy changes, inspections and property presentation, subject to clear instructions, access and approval.

Do you carry out tree surgery or major landscaping?

Routine gardening can include suitable shrub and small-plant pruning. Large trees, high-risk work, major construction and specialist landscaping require separate assessment and may need another qualified contractor.
